With as sick as Carter has been for a while he has been begging to go to church, this pic shows him all ready and waiting at the door for mom and dad. He begs to go to nursery and comes home singing new songs, we love his enthusiasm. With baby Zoey's arrival only about 5 weeks away, we're noticing how our little dude is becoming quite grown up. He's speaking in sentences and using our favorite parenting lines on us and other kids! His favorites are "Understand dad?" and "Okay?" We're getting him all excited for his birthday coming up and he's ready. He'll tell you that he gets presents, balloons and cake for his birthday (something his Little Einstein movies have taught him). Randomly throughout the days he'll say "My birthday is coming up!" It's so fun to hear him use our exact phrases. Something else he's found humorous as many kids seem to, is calling us by our names. Dad doesn't find it as funny as I do when Carter calls out "Hey Mike/Teecy!" I think Carter does it to tease his dad because dad always says, "Carter, that's mommy and I'm daddy." My boys are so cute together, they're best friends. Every morning Carter asks where his daddy is, and when Mike gets home they play play play. We love Carter so much, we're excited to see what it feels like to have that kind of love all over again with our little girl. We'll update again soon.Tuesday, April 15, 2008

That's such a cute shot. I wish Ryan liked Nursery that much. As long as I send her with Lorin (no mommy in sight), she doesn't cry. Mike is such a good Daddy. We love you guys and will see you soon!!! Yay!!!
